Norman Wells Won My Vice

Congratulations to Norman Wells of Glendale Arizona. He has won my vice. Each each year I buy a new vice and give my old one away. This year Norm has won a slightly used Griffin Odyssey Spider. The usual c-clamp base has been replace with a 2x6x8 inch heavy Honduras Rosewood custom base.

Norm has been fishing since he was 7 years old. He took up fly fishing when he worked in Alaska in 1992. However, he has not had much time to fish since he returned to the lower 48. He recently retired and has started tying again using a beginners kit he got for Christmas several years ago. He realized he needed a better vice and was planning on purchasing a Griffin vice. Norm fishes the rim lakes in northern Arizona and some of the urban lakes around Phoenix. Good luck with the fly tying.
